Who we are

Loop ("we", "us", "our") operates the Loop golf club app, available on iOS and Android. Our contact email is hello@loop.golf.

What data we collect

• Name and email address — used to create and identify your account within the app.
• Club membership — we record which golf club you are a member of so we can show you the right content.
• Precise location — used while you are actively using the app on the course to show distances to the green and nearby waypoints. Location is not collected in the background.
• Food orders — when you place an order through the app, we store the items, price, and your name so the kitchen can fulfil it.
• Scoring data — scorecards and round results you record in the app.
• Push notification token — so your club can send you course updates and order notifications.

How we use your data

• To operate the app and deliver the features you use (food ordering, course status, news).
• To send you push notifications from your club (course updates, food order ready).
• We do not use your data for advertising.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.

Who we share data with

• Your golf club — club administrators can see orders placed at their venue and can send you notifications.
• Supabase — our database and authentication provider. Data is stored on Supabase infrastructure hosted in the EU. supabase.com/privacy
• Expo / EAS — used to deliver push notifications. expo.dev/privacy

Location data

The app requests access to your precise location only when you are using GPS features on the course. We do not track your location in the background. Location data is used in real-time to calculate distances and is not stored permanently.

Camera access

The app uses your camera only to scan QR codes when joining a club. No photos are taken, stored, or transmitted.

Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as you have an active account. Food orders and scoring history are retained to provide your history within the app. You can request deletion at any time.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Object to processing of your data

Children

Loop is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via a notification in the app.
